The 5k walk/run was held on October 9th to raise funds and awareness during October, which is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. More than 200 participants came to the event to honor babies lost too soon to miscarriage and stillbirth. The NWI Times attended the event and wrote an article you can read here.
Love, Jessica is a non-profit organization that assists families with medical bills and funeral expenses after a miscarriage or stillbirth. The group’s mission is also to ease the financial burden and help with the healing process. It was launched by Jennifer Jara on July 1, 2020, in honor of her first daughter, Jessica.
